A grand old dame with friendly staff who were super helpful. We got upgraded to a nicer room after an issue, which was a pleasant surprise. The laundromat on-site was a lifesaver, and breakfast was decent enough. The location is spot on, right in the village center! 😊

Air conditioning system seemed to be nonexistent!!! Water-damaged hallway ceilings and poorly maintained decor created a run-down atmosphere!!! Noise levels from adjoining rooms were annoyingly high!!!

Outstanding service in a cozy retreat
Heartland Hotel Fox Glacier felt like a hidden gem. The room was recently refurbished, clean, and comfortable, making us feel right at home. The staff went above and beyond, particularly Umesh, who arranged to send back our forgotten raincoats, ensuring that our experience remained memorable despite the rain.
While the hotel is charming, there were some issues with noise levels from adjoining rooms, which occasionally interrupted our sleep. there were signs of wear in some common areas, hinting at a need for regular maintenance.

The room was clean and comfortable with large beds. Breakfast offered hot and cold choices. Friendly staff made the experience enjoyable. Coin laundry noticed for convenience.

Family with children looking for comfort
The staff was exceptional! They knew just when to suggest the best time to view the glacier, turning a cloudy day into a memory I won’t forget. They even tracked down my raincoats and sent 'em back home, Umesh deserves a medal for that effort!
It wasn't inexpensive, but worth every penny.
